Juliette Armand Glycolic Acid 50 %

Results of the measure: keratolytic effect, cell regeneration, reduction of fine wrinkles and uneven facial skin color, firming, skin radiance.

Main features:
– Glycolic acid is a type of alpha hydroxy acid that is derived from sugarcane. It is among the most popular active ingredients when it comes to anti-aging skincare products. Its molecules can penetrate deeply through the skin layers as it has the smallest molecules out of all alpha hydroxy acids;
– Glycolic acid impairs the connections between keratinocytes that are located right on the top layer of stratum corneum. It also impairs the lipid stickiness: this action then stimulates cell renewal, exfoliation and simultaneously allows the dead skin cells to shed more effectively;
– By regularly using highly concentrated glycolic acid products, skin is rejuvenated and regenerated. Glycolic acid interacts with the receptors of fibroblasts and so the production of the intercellular substance such as collagen, elastin, fibronectin, hyaluronic acid is stimulated even more.

Indications: hyperkeratosis, wrinkles, loss of volume, dull skin, sunspots, photoaging.
